That "$99 whole-house special" is a bait ad - the real number appears once they are in your hallway, or the "clean" is a shop-vac at the register. We photograph the inside of your ducts before and after instead.
Meet the Pasadena Team Behind Hollis Air Duct Pasadena
Most air duct companies send whoever is available. We don’t work that way. The Pasadena crew has been cleaning ducts in this city long enough to know which houses in Bungalow Heaven have 1920s-era tin ductwork and which condos near Old Town share riser ducts with six other units. That local knowledge matters. Every tech on this page lives in or around Pasadena, knows the San Gabriel Valley’s dust patterns, and answers to Roy Castellanos directly. No subcontractors. No day-labor crews. Just the same faces, job after job.
Styles & brands we work with

Our People
Roy Castellanos, Owner
Roy bought the Pasadena Hollis location because he got tired of watching homeowners get quoted one price on the phone and a different one at the door. He’s been running service crews since 2004, and he still rides along on jobs when a system is tricky or a customer has questions the tech can’t answer on the spot. His rule is simple: the price is written before the work starts, and it doesn’t move. If something goes wrong, he’s the one who makes it right, within the year, at no charge. Most days you’ll find him on the phone with customers or walking a job site, not hiding in a back office.
Marco D., Lead Technician
Marco has run more negative-air setups than anyone else on the crew. He’s the one who decides whether a Pasadena home needs a push-pull setup with a Rotobrush rotary system or a straight Nikro negative-air pull based on the age of the ducts and how much decades of San Gabriel Valley dust has settled in them. He’s our go-to for older homes in Madison Heights and the Arroyo, where retrofitted systems often hide surprises behind the registers. Off the clock, Marco restores vintage motorcycles, which means he has no patience for half-done work and a serious eye for detail when he’s under a house.
Dana R., Senior Installer and Duct Sealing Specialist
Dana handles the duct sealing side of the business, and she’s particular about mastic. Not tape. Mastic, applied properly, because tape fails in attics that hit 120 degrees in August, and she’s seen too many Pasadena attics to trust anything less. She’s certified on our Abatement Technologies filtration gear and runs the sealing jobs on older forced-air systems where leaky ducts are silently pushing conditioned air into crawlspaces. Before Hollis, she did HVAC sheet metal work in the Inland Empire. On weekends she coaches youth soccer, which has given her the patience to explain duct leakage to homeowners in fifteen minutes flat without ever making them feel stupid.
Luis F., Service Coordinator
If you call Hollis Air Duct Pasadena, there’s a good chance Luis picks up. He’s the one who books the appointments, walks you through what the job will actually involve, and makes sure the tech shows up inside the quoted window with the right equipment on the truck. Luis came from commercial building maintenance, so he knows the difference between a small residential job and what a 4,000-square-foot office building in the Playhouse District needs. He’s also the reason our schedule stays honest: no overbooking, no giving you a window and then calling to push it back an hour. If something changes, you hear it from him before you wonder where the tech is.
One Standard, Every Job
Every Hollis location is independently owned and operated, but the crew in Pasadena works under something specific: The Garrison Standard. It’s not a plaque on the wall. It’s the six things Roy holds his people to on every single job, and they’re written into how we operate. Arrive inside the quoted window. Put the price in writing before any work starts. Do the job by the book, not by what’s fastest. Show the customer what was pulled out of their ducts with before-and-after photos. Leave the site cleaner than we found it. And if anything fails within 365 days, come back and fix it at no charge, including a free second visit. That last part is the 365-Day Done Right Promise, and it’s printed on every job. Marco, Dana, Luis, and Roy all know it. More importantly, they all live it, because in a city the size of Pasadena, reputation travels faster than the 210 at rush hour.
